This Privacy Policy explains how KAMAL BHARDWAJ (sole proprietor trading as RUDRA ENTERPRISES) (“makeupormore”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you use our website and services. We are the Data Fiduciary for your personal data and process it in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable rules.

1. Data we collect

• Identity & contact: your mobile number — used for OTP login, order updates on WhatsApp and your GST invoice — and optionally your name. We do not ask for an email address.
• Order & delivery: shipping addresses, order history, payment status (we do not store card numbers — payments are handled by our gateway).
• Usage & device: pages viewed, cart activity, IP address, browser/user agent and cookie identifiers — collected only with your consent where required.
• Communications: reviews, support messages and your WhatsApp/SMS marketing preferences.

2. How we use your data & legal basis

We process your data on the following bases under the DPDP Act:

• To fulfil your order (processing, delivery, payments, returns and customer support) — necessary to provide the service you requested.
• Transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates) — sent as service messages.
• Marketing (offers, new arrivals) — only with your consent; you can withdraw it anytime by replying STOP or updating your preferences.
• Analytics & improvement — only where you accept analytics cookies.
• Legal & fraud prevention — to comply with tax/accounting law and to keep the platform secure.

3. Cookies & consent

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site (login session, cart, security) and, with your consent, optional analytics cookies. You manage your choice through our cookie banner; rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to shop.

4. Sharing & Data Processors

We share data only with processors who help us run makeupormore, under contract and only as needed: payment gateway (Razorpay), logistics/courier partners, WhatsApp/SMS providers, and cloud hosting. We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside India, we do so in line with the DPDP Act and applicable government notifications.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, or as required by law (e.g. tax and accounting records are retained for the statutory period). After that it is deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act you may:

• access and obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction or updating of inaccurate data;
• request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention obligations);
• withdraw consent for marketing or analytics at any time;
• nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
• raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.

7. Children

makeupormore is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly process the data of children without verifiable parental consent as required by the DPDP Act.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption of secrets at rest, access controls, audit logging and OTP-based authentication — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of any breach as required.
